Susan Mary Senior
After obtaining a degree from Oxford (in Philosophy, Politics and Economics), postgraduate qualifications from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, the Johns Hopkins Bologna Center and a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, I was a professor at Siena University for many years teaching courses on Economic Policy, EU Economics and Agricultural economics. While doing my undergraduate degree at Oxford I also studied at the Ruskin School of Art. Subsequently in London I followed art classes at the City Lit. Institute for two years and in Florence at the Charles H. Cecil Studios. I studied sculpture at the Accademia d’Arte and followed workshops with Enrico Ferrarini and Jason Arkles. I have sold numerous paintings, in particular, at an annual charity market held by the European University Institute in San Domenico di Fiesole.
I work in oil and watercolor and do sculpting in clay, plaster, cement and bronze.
