Cui Li, born in the 1990s on the China-North Korea border, is currently based in Tuscany, Italy, and Beijing, China.
She focuses on exploring the metaphorical power of natural, political, and cultural symbols within unusual contexts.
Through installations, performances, and other forms of engagement in specific sites, she conducts anthropological observation and intervention.
